Meet the Team
Oliver Turnill
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Oliver has played golf his whole life and a golf club has been his 3rd arm. Oliver has been an England boy/youth international and played professional golf to a high standard having competed on the Challenge Tour and mini tour events in the US and UK.
Oliver was the Honma UK Sales Manager for two years before setting up UK Golf & Sports Ltd. After 18 months Oliver went in a different direction and set up Over The Top Golf Ltd before bringing in Simon Ostrom as a fellow director.
Course Record: 62 (-10) Rocky Creek Country Club, USA.
Hobbies: Golf, playing 6 a side football, scuba diving and watching Tottenham Hotspur FC!
Nick Smith
SALES DIRECTOR
Nick trained as a PGA professional with Golf at Goodwood before moving to Cannes-Mougins Country Club in the South of France.
In recent years Nick moved into technology, as the international sales manager for Golf Genius Software. Building relationships with professionals and industry bodies through the UK and Europe.
On a personal note Nick continues to enjoy the game of golf, still trying to perfect it! Always keen to travel, cook and plan the annual ski trip.
Jess Beasley
ACCOUNTANT
Jess is our external Accountant, founder of Giraffe Accountants. Working within the accounting industry since 2014, becoming a fully qualified Chartered Certified Accountant in 2019.
Jess specialises in online accounting as a certified advisor for Xero and QuickBooks, with extensive knowledge of tools like Dext and Fathom. She enjoys helping businesses grow by optimising their accounting systems and offering tailored advice to achieve their goals.
Jess is less sporty herself, but does enjoy playing darts and spends a lot of her time outside of work at her 3 sons’ sporting events!
Dan Sykes
MARKETING EXECUTIVE
Dan previously worked at Goodwood for three years, firstly in the Golf Team as an Operations Assistant and later moving to the Motorsport Marketing team to work with their flagship events including Festival of Speed, Revival and Goodwoof.
Dan is also a keen golfer, playing off a handicap of 5.2 and has been playing since the age of 8. Dan also enjoys playing and watching football and spends his weekends suffering by watching the mighty Arsenal (much to Oli’s delight).
Marcus Embleton
SALES EXECUTIVE
Marcus joined the OTT Golf team in March 2023. A passionate golfer (though he admits to lacking both course records and extraordinary talent), Marcus was already familiar with many of the OTT Golf team. He had previously played alongside Oliver and Nick as part of the Bognor Regis Golf Club scratch team before taking on his new role.
Before entering the golf industry, Marcus built his career as a Commercial Sales Manager for a family-owned window manufacturing firm, where he honed his expertise in sales and client relations. Marcus thoroughly enjoys the annual golf trip to Portugal and is always on the lookout for his next holiday to book.
Aimee Donohoe
ADMIN ASSISTANT
Aimee has had different job roles over the years, working in childcare, restaurants and for West Sussex County Council. Aimee has learned to adapt to each job, had first aid training, safeguarding and various IT courses. In Aimee’s spare time, she likes to spend it with family and friends and take walks along the promenade and also enjoys reading and movies.
Max Wladon
WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE
Max previously worked on building sites doing flooring and carpentry before joining the Over The Top Golf Team. Max also is a season ticket holder for Chelsea and goes to their games all around the country. He also plays a good standard of cricket for Pagham Cricket Club 1st team and enjoys going to gigs, festivals and concerts. Max also dabbles at the game of golf and plays off a handicap of 12.9.
